Plastisac Srl is pleased to inform you that we have finally completed the process of certification of the project concerning the study of the calculation of CARBON FOOTPRINT in the production of polyethylene bags for waste collection.
Thanks to this new certification, Plastisac establishes itself as the first and only company in the sector of flexible packaging to have achieved this recognition.
The initiative was part of an environmental footprint assessment program that involved over 200 Italian companies on a voluntary basis, or through public tender, through the identification and reduction of emissions, in line with the policies of the “Kyoto Protocol", and of the “Climate-Energy Package” of the European Union.
