One of Plastisac's main objectives is to offer a high-quality product. This section shows the certifications earned by Plastisac, both in terms of product certification and quality of production processes, demonstrating the Company's constant commitment to complying with the very high quality standards required.
UNI EN 15593:2008 certification, issued by the CSI S.p.a., concerns the management of hygiene in the production of Materials and Objects intended to come into Contact with Food Products (MOCA) and allows food packaging producers demonstrating their ability to manage and control hygiene risks related to their own products. By obtaining this certification, issued in March 2012 and fully integrated into the current quality system, Plastisac controls all aspects of hygiene management in the production of packaging, specifying the requirements for their storage and transport, all the while respecting the quality and hygiene standards introduced by the “GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices”.
Plastisac has always been committed to providing high-performance and high-quality solutions, and above all to ensuring that they are as sustainable and applicable as possible within a circular economy process. Obtaining this important certification is part of this perspective. The certification has allowed the company to validate the management system for the calculation of the product carbon footprint, which is the analysis of the carbon footprint of the life cycle of each product made by the company. The validation of the calculation system allows to calculate the carbon footprint of any product and no longer just the bag with the RFID tag, as before. The production cycle of the products respects the univocal normative reference at international level and, for this reason, it was possible to obtain the UNI EN ISO 14067: 2018 - CFP SYSTEMATIC APPROACH certification.
With reference to issues related to quality control, Plastisac has been constantly working since 1997 to research and develop initiatives and actions deemed useful for defining and monitoring quality standards assessed periodically by the Company top management. UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, renewed until 2021, which has become famous over time due to its importance, is issued by DNV Business Assurance Italia Srl.
