Plastisac partecipated at the "Circular Economy - Climathon 2020" Hackathon

On Saturday 21 November 2020, the Teams, made up of students, graduates and professionals, working in the design, digital manufacturing and technologies, related to the green & circular economy, presented their solution to the challenges launched by the important companies of Mantua, that have joined the initiative, among which Plastisac was present.

The Hackathon, organized by PromoImpresa - Borsa Merci, promoted by the Municipality of Mantua and supported by the Cariverona Foundation, aimed at the promotion of real innovation processes on the theme of Cirular Economy and to respond to an increasingly need, concerning the competitivness of our production system, which today is called upon to deal with different and sustainable development models.

The project presented by the "Flora" Team, composed by Martina Bosica, Beatrice Cavallari, Valentino Lanzarotto, Ottavia Nuti Budini Gattai and coordinated by  our external consultant, Eng. Andrea Parma of Seprim Srl, had the objective of achieve communication of the environmental sustainability of the products mady by Plastisac. A Virtual Game was presented which was able to highlight the objectives and results obtained through the calculation of the Carbon Footprint and the company's search of sustainable and green processes.

Through this Hackathon, which could foresee developments for the future, Plastisac highlights even more the will to reduce the environmental impact of its production processes and to make its products more sustainable.
